Alienaward Press is an independent editorial website. The contact form is for review proposals, corrections and letters. It does not register readers for a newsletter or create an account. This page explains the data processed when you use the form or visit the website.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. All four fields are required. After validation, the submission is written to a protected log on our web server, together with the time and selected page language. The form does not request a telephone number, accept files or enable mailing-list signups. As with most websites, the hosting server may maintain separate connection and security logs.
We use contact messages to review pitches, corrections and letters, and to reply where appropriate. A success message means the submission was stored successfully; it does not promise a reply or publication. We do not use form entries to create reader profiles or enroll anyone in a mailing list.
The cookie banner stores your choice in local browser storage and a first-party preference cookie so the notice does not repeatedly appear. This project does not include a third-party analytics or advertising tracker. You can clear the stored preference through your browser settings. Functional server logs may still be created by the hosting infrastructure.
Contact submissions are saved as records in the server-side /private/ directory, which must not be accessible over the web. The site does not send these submissions as email and has no external mailing-list processor in this implementation. The hosting operator may process information needed to run the server. Records are retained only as needed to handle correspondence and are deleted when no longer needed.
You can ask us about personal information we hold, request correction or a copy, or request deletion, subject to applicable law. Contact us using the details below and identify the message concerned so we can locate the record. We will review each request under the applicable rules.
