These are the questions readers and contributors ask most often. The answers describe how the paper actually works: a independently edited online newspaper with no reader accounts or live comment threads.

Contributors edit it, not an algorithm. Letters are read, selected, and annotated by people who follow the genre scene in Buenos Aires and Latin America. Editorial notes after each letter are attempts to keep a disagreement moving, not verdicts on it.
Write to the editor at support@alienaward.com with the piece, the paragraph, and what you think is wrong. Corrections are handled the same way as any other editorial matter: by a person reading the message, not by a queue.
Reviews, translation notes, convention dispatches, and behind-the-scenes reporting on zine fairs, print runs, and cover art are all in scope. Pitches go to the same address. There is no submission portal and no automated tracking; a reply depends on an editor reading it.
No reader accounts or live comment threads, and no uploads. Forms exist only on the contact page, and they confirm technical receipt on a thanks page. They do not create an account, a booking, or a file upload.
If your question is about how the paper handles a specific piece, the fastest route is still a direct note to the editor. For how reader data and submissions are treated, see the privacy policy.
